Stacy's post attempt.

Okay. So Mark says that I never help with this blog stuff, so here's my small attempt at it. Just keep in mind that I have no clue what I'm doing.

A few things that Mark left out of his last blog...

Chelsea turned 6 months old in January. At her check up she weighed 19 lbs. Yes, you read that right...she's our little (big) chunker!!! We absolutely love all her chunk. She is sitting up, rolling everywhere, and starting to get into crawling position. She is tons of fun and full of smiles and laughs. Her hair is starting to get a little longer. You'll see in one picture that we attempted a ponytail...it didn't stay in. It's still just barely too short. Kayla and I are both anxiously awaiting the ability to do ponytails, barettes, and clips in Chelsea's hair.

Blake is 2 1/2 and still ALL boy!!! He had an absolute blast at Uncle Michael's house will all the animals, mud puddles, zip line, and romping around. He loves to play with his cars, dinosaurs, tools, etc. He is also into using all of the above mentioned items as swords or anything else you hit things with. We're working on kicking that habit. He is still not interested in the potty (despite Mom & Dad's wishes). He'll sit on the potty every once in a while, but overall is just not interested yet. Hopefully, someday soon.

Kayla is still our girly girl. She's now 4 1/2 and loves all the girly stuff. She decided to cut her own hair in January. That was a first...and hopefully a last. She now has bangs on one side of her forehead and not the other. She has an almost bald spot between the two sides and lots of short pieces throughout her whole head. I'm just hoping it all grows back before she starts school. Meemaw brought her a makeup kit in January, and she has a blast putting on makeup and getting all dolled up. She even gets Blake involved. (We're hoping there's no permanent damage done.) Kayla is excited to start Kindergarten this fall and loves learning new things.

We have had a "fun" time the last couple of weeks with sickness in our house. The day after Mark's big surprise birthday party (He's now 30 by the way.), we ended up taking Kayla to the Urgent Care. She had a pretty bad ear infection. We all had colds...stuffy/runny noses, plugged ears, etc. Then, two days later, we decided we had to take Chelsea in to be seen, too. We were trying to tough it out, but decided she was just too bad, and it's a good thing we did. She had two really bad ear infections...yep, both ears. Poor thing. So, they are both on antibiotics and doing much better. Blake's nose is clearing up and doesn't have any ear infections symptoms or anything. I'm getting better, but Mark is wondering if he doesn't have an ear infection himself. Overall, we'll all getting better and starting to be real people again. It's been fun, but I'm glad it's over.

So, that's my little update. I'll attempt to add a couple pictures now. If you see them, then I figured it out. If not, then sorry.

I'm so glad that you have posted on your blog. It seems like the only way we get to keep in touch. Hopefully I will get some ambition and update mine soon.
